There are many benefits and qualifying reasons to sponsor this event. Recognition, visibility and advertisement are a few reasons to help gain exposure for your business. However, not all reasons are based on dollars and cents. Knowing your financial support is going directly toward helping children with PWS fulfill their lifelong dream of a normal life by enhancing the quality of life for these special angels is an excellent reason itself.
Our mission is simple; bring awareness to the public in order to help save the lives of children combating the maladies associated with PWS. Today, understanding, acceptance and wholeness are only in the dreams and wishes of our children and families; but are some of the ultimate goals of PWSA (USA).With generosity, benevolence and compassion from people like you, the businesses within our community, we can build that dream into reality.
Every penny earned from your contributions and our fundraising efforts goes immediately to the PWSA (USA) to support their hard work on a national basis. PWSA (USA) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
I hope you will join with me and help give those affected by PWS every opportunity they deserve.

It is estimated that one child in 12,000 - 15,000 born in this country has Prader-Willi syndrome. That estimate equates to 20,000 people. PWSA (USA) only knows of 5,565 cases. Therefore, approximately 15,000 individuals are still at large (70%) without a diagnosis. The good news is that in the last two years, due to PWSA (USA)'s New Parent Mentoring program and more awareness, 43% of the estimated infants born with the syndrome are getting diagnosed and referred. Without early diagnosis and medical intervention; they cannot survive the battle that will quickly overcome them as they mature, so please help us with your financial support. Someone you know may have Prader-Willi syndrome.
